REGAL | Streamline v2.0 receives VISA-PABP validation

AutoGas REGAL system validated on VISA's PABP program

AutoGas Systems, Inc. in collaboration with VISA, U.S.A. has announced that the REGAL | Streamline v2.0 family of products has been validated and accepted as Payment Application Best Practices (PABP) compliant. The Payment Application Best Practices program was created specifically to assist software vendors to create secure payment applications that help Visa Acquirers ensure that their merchants and service providers are in compliance with CISP by establishing a set of 13 best practices designed to protect sensitive information from being compromised. Secure payment applications, when implemented in a CISP-compliant environment, will minimize the potential for security breaches leading to compromises of full magnetic stripe data or CVV2 and the potential for damaging fraud resulting from these breaches.

"AutoGas's participation and attaining an independent validation with the CISP Payment Application Best Practices shows their commitment to security and projects a larger data security initiative", says VISA. "Their validated application communicates an integral belief in protecting sensitive information assets and corporate intelligence. Dedication to security displays integrity and a focus on business for the long term."
