Platform Technical Specifications
Customers are able to procure and support alternate platforms and peripherals that are not currently supported by AutoGas. However, to be considered a "compliant" platform, it must meet the S1 Technical Specifications in order to guarantee application software performance to a level of reasonable customer satisfaction. Specifications are subject to change with subsequent releases of REGAL Streamline software.
An S1-compliant platform must conform to open-system PC standards and be capable of supporting the following basic software/hardware requirements.
- Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2
- Intel Pentium 4 Microprocessor (2.0+ GHz Processor Clock Rate)
- 512 MB RAM (minimum)
- 40 GB Hard Drive (minimum)
- Standard VGA (capable of supporting 800 x 600)
- (4) USB 1.1 Ports (minimum)
- (1) Standard Serial COM Port (minimum)
Additional platform requirements may apply based on selected peripheral devices used on the REGAL platform. AutoGas provides a turnkey CPU and peripheral bundle called the AutoGas Standard Offering (ASO) that meets or exceeds the S1 Technical Specifications and is available for immediate distribution. ASO platforms are fully supported by the Training, Publications and Support Services departments within AutoGas.
